I enjoyed “Iekei ramen Busho-ya” in Akihabara!

Hi, guys!

I am back to Japan.

She has been worked in Germany.

And I am coming to Tokyo for a vacation and my working.

Busho-Ramen

So, I took a one-day vacation and went on a day trip to Lake Yamanaka and Lake Kawaguchi in Yamanashi pref.

Good!

I enjoyed sightseeing in Yamanashi so much that I rushed around without eating so much.

So when I returned to my hotel in Tokyo, I was starving.

Now, let’s go an Japanese authentic ramen restaurant!

Suddenly, I wanted to eat Japanese authentic ramen in the hotel!

But there were too many candidates of ramen restaurants in Tokyo.
I didn’t find which one would be good.

Yeah!
That’s right!

Since I was staying at a business hotel in Ochanomizu, I decided to look for it in the vicinity.

When I asked the hotel receptionist for his recommendation of ramen restaurants, he told me that the best ones were clustered in Akihabara.

Oh!
Good information…

Akihabara is within walking distance from the hotel, so I walked 10 minutes.

Akihabara in the evening

I arrived at Akihabara, where foreign tourists enjoyed themselves and ” Meido” invited them to her ” Meido cafe”.

I was also invited by a Meido … 😅

Interesting!

Where is “Iekei ramen Busho-ya” in Akihabara?

I went to “Iekei ramen Busho-ya” which was highly rated on Google Maps.→Google Map

Great!

Iekei ramen Busho-ya

I arrived at “Iekei ramen Busho-ya” in Akihabara!

First floor is the ramen restaurant, but the second floor looks like a meido cafe

First, I was in line at the restaurant, but the other customers were moving strangely!

I learned the “Rules” of this restaurant!

I ask the young business man at the end of the line about the “Rules” of this restaurant.

I found that I had to firstly buy a ramen ticket and then waited in line.

Oh!
Good information!

But when I looked at the ramen ticket machine, I coudn’t understand how to use.

A waiting man to buy a ramen ticket, so I asked him to buy it firstly than me and I watched and checked the “Rules” how to buy.

(Cited from Guru-Navi)

If you are a foreign tourist, you have no problem asking him how to buy.
He will kindly tell you how to buy.

I agree.

Ramen ticket

I chose the ramen with half-boiled flavored egg, which was 950 yen(About 6.5$USD).

Waiting for a while in line…

While I was waiting in line, the restaurant staff came to take my rame ticket.

noodles?, flavorof soup? and how much fat?

He asked how hard the noodles were, how strong the soup tasted, and how much fat was in it.

I didn’t know anything about it so I ordered everything regular, but all the other customers ordered their noodles hard.

At that time, you will be asked if you would like rice and the size (large, medium, small). Rice is included free of charge, and you can have more if you want.

Rice size?

Hmm, I’d like a small portion of rice please.

The building winds are strong and it gets cold, but it takes about 30 minutes to wait in line to get into the restaurant.

It’s quite a wait, isn’t it.

Yeah!

Entering the restaurant!

The restaurant had about 10 counter seats, arranged in the L shape.

Cited from TabeLog

You are guided to your seat, but basically you sit down in order from the first available seat.

There was a young business man in front of me, and as he began to put on the paper apron, I also put on the apron.

But only the business man and I wore paper aprons.

He wore a paper apron because he didn’t want to get his suit dirty.

That’s right!

Since my order had already accepted, it was almost no wait time once I sat down.

I see.
That’s a good system!

Garlic and other condiments are placed in front of you.

First, the ramen of other customers who ordered hard ramen was made.

I was the only one who ordered a regular hardness of noodles, so I got the ramen at last.

It takes a more long time to boil in regular hardness.

I was excited to eat it

Enjoy!

The ramen with spinach and seaweed, as is typical of the Iekei ramen style.

However, I’m not a big ramen fan, so I can’t really report about what ramen is, but I’ll do my best to write a food review.

The noodles are curly and a little thick…

First of all, when I sipped the soup, it was based on pork bone and soy sauce and was quite rich and flavorful.

It’s not saluty, but rich taste and delicious.

I could see the fat floating in the soup and couldn’t contain my excitement as I started to eat the noodles…

The soup mixes well with the curly noodles and is incredibly delicious!

The flavorful ramen soup enhanced the sweetness of the rice.

I’m glad I ordered rice!

You can order more rice, so quite a few men asking for more rice.

The seasoned eggs were delicious with the flavor soaked into the yolk.

Besides, the chashu pork was thick and meaty.

The flavor of the ramen got stronger towards the end. So, I couldn’t eat the soup.

With my stomach full, I saw at the my beside person ramen to check if it is okay to leave the soup.

Oh, the business man is also leaving his soup!

When I looked further beside, he finished his meal, he placed it upside of the counter in front of him, and said “Thank you for the meal.”in Japanese.

I should do that too….

I imitated him and said in a lower voice.

Gochiso-sama…

ARIGATO-GOZAIMASU!
MATA-KITE-KUDASAI!

I was overwheilmed when they answered amiably but rather loudly.

I should have said it more louder and clearly😅

Looking near the exit, I found a trash can full of white paper napkins.

Oh, I see… I can just dump my paper apron here…

The time spent at the restaurant was about 20 minutes.

It’s been a while since I’ve had Iekei ramen, but it was delicious.
It was also an interesting experience to learn about the “Rules” of this ramen restaurant.。。

So, I recommend this restaurant.
