The one of most delicious eel broiled by BBQ at “Horichu” in Noda, Osaka.
Today blog story is the “eel”.
The other day, I visited "Horichu," an eel restaurant in Noda, Osaka.
Great!
Personally, I found the eels here to be the most delicious.
Wow!
Have you ever been eaten “UNAGI”?
Japanese people call eel “UNAGI” in Japanese.
Unagi means not only a creature but also a meal of broiled eel in Japan.
Eels are eaten in many countries.
But, broiled eels are not eaten in many countries.
The bones of unagi were treated and eliminated. After that, unagi is broiled by charcoal.
So, it is not fishy smell at all. It’s soft and delicious. That is authentic.
You should come to Japan to eat unagi at least once before your life end.
About Horichu, unagi restaurant
The address of the restaurant is 4-6-24 Noda, Fukushima-ku, Osaka City→Google map
So, the store is located near the Osaka Central Wholesale Market.
So, they can get very fresh eels.
For those coming from Noda Station on the JR Loop Line or Tamagawa Station on the Osaka Metro Sennichimae Line, please take the larger road on Prefectural Road No. 29 and Kawaguchi NishiKujo Road to the restaurant.
Other streets are narrow and hard to find the restaurant.
the store faces the Kawaguchi Nishikujo Road.
It's the main restaurant, but it only has 7 seats at the counter.
Note that the restaurant is small and there are no tables to face each other.
I made a reservation for my mother and my brothers, totally five persons.
If it's a big restaurant, I can reserve a table.
But we waited about 20 minutes for seats to become available because of crowded
So, I recommended this restaurant is good for using within 3persons.
You can see the process of making unagi!
I am Japanese, but I have only seen unagi being broiled of the restaurant on TV. But I saw it in front of the counter at that restaurant.
So, you can!
Our unagi are grilled over charcoal.
The chef was making unagi in front of us.
Enjoy unagi!
About 10 minutes after ordering, the unagi will be served at the counter.
It's always exciting to open the lid of a bowl of unagi
First, I ate the eel liver soup.
Good broth. Delicious soup!
Second, I ate only unagi.(without rice)
OMG! This is so good!
I love the smell with the charcoal fire!
The unagi is so soft and melts in the mouth.
OMG. So delicious.
Next, I ate unagi with rice.
Unagi source is different in each restaurant.
The sauce is not salty, and delicious in Horichu .
Yummy・・Yummy・・
My mom is always the same word when it comes to good food.
Um・・Um・・
She is also silent and nodding when she eats very delicious food.
・・・・・
Finally, she was moved.
Hahaha・・Delicious ・・
It was so delicious that everyone in my family ate it in silence for a while.
Yammy ・・yammy ・・
I added Japanese pepper to change the taste.
Japanese pepper flavor was added and harmonized perfectly.
Yummy・・Yummy・・
And then, she also added Japanese pepper on the unagi.
Wow・・・・・
The five of us were speechless because of delicious unagi.
Hahaha😆
The unagi made us happy!
